Vestas tower sections at Port of Gladstone Lotus creek Wind Farm

Oversize overmass (OSOM) deliveries have started for the Lotus Creek Wind Farm.

The Lotus Creek Wind Farm is a 285 megawatt project owned that is being constructed on privately-owned cattle grazing land at Lotus Creek, halfway between Rockhampton and Mackay, in Central Queensland.

The initial OSOM deliveries will be wind turbine components delivered from the Port of Gladstone to a holding area at Marlborough.

A transformer for the project will also be delivered to the project site this month from the Port of Brisbane.

All OSOM deliveries will have a police escort and follow a Transport Management Plan approved by the Department of Transport and Main Roads.
