OSOM deliveries
Oversize overmass (OSOM) deliveries for the Lotus Creek Wind Farm are beginning in May 2026.
Most of the deliveries will be wind turbine components, along with a small number of ancillary equipment such as transformers and switch rooms.
The Lotus Creek Wind Farm is committed to delivering these OSOM components safely and to minimising the impact on local communities.
OSOM deliveries are expected to continue for approximately 12 months. We will continue to update this page as the delivery schedule is confirmed.
Wind turbine components
The Lotus Creek Wind Farm will commence the first phase of OSOM deliveries of wind turbine components on 15 May 2026.
This first phase will involve the transportation of sections of wind turbine towers, which will be delivered from the Port of Gladstone to the Marlborough Tower Laydown shown in the map below
All OSOM deliveries will have a police escort.
Refer below for the delivery schedule. The schedule may change due to weather or operational conditions.

The OSOM deliveries will finish at Marlborough in phase 1. The components will be delivered to the project site in the next phase of OSOM deliveries.
Transformer delivery
A 137 tonne transformer will be transported from the Port of Brisbane to Lotus Creek Substation, St Lawrence Croydon in June 2026.
We are working with the Department of Transport and Main Roads to finalise the date for this OSOM delivery. Once dates are confirmed, we will update the table below with more information.
